Original Austin Healy 100-6 for sale
I did a blog post on this Austin Healy awhile back talking about how wonderful the car is. It is not glossy, not fancy but is such an easy going car. It has that factory feel where everything seems perfectly broken in from being well serviced and thoroughly oiled. It starts instantly, rides nicely, not like so many other Healy’s that I have driven and starts no mater how long it has been sitting.
I am interested in finding out a few things about this car. First off, is it as original as I think it is? What is it worth? Does anyone out there want to buy the car?

Stephen,
your questions: Original? Maybe… what are the real colors, black over O.E. White is factory, silver isn’t. Interior colors? From what I understand very few cars were shipped with disc wheels. Also, most cars with the disc wheels would been strippers with a non-adjustable column and perhaps no heater or overdrive. The body number should be on the firewall on an alloy tag. Look at the back of the bonnet, because they were stamped and on my car the bonnet latching platform at the front (the bracket type thingy) is also stamped. They should all carry the same number. Hope this helps, and no, I don’t need another.

If it helps, I can shoot you some JPEG’s of where to hunt for body numbers. Also relevant chassis number to build date type stuff.
